Members of UF Health Spanish Plaines Hospital Auxiliary function in many rewarding capacities including information desk hosts, retail specialists, patient advocates, goodwill ambassadors, and special projects. Over 700 volunteers currently serve in this dynamic group of men and women and provide thousands of hours of service to the hospital annually. Pet Therapy
A Pet Therapy program also launched in 2022! To join, you must be certified through Alliance of Therapy Dogs, Pet Partners, or Therapy Dogs International. For more information about Pet Therapy, call the volunteer placement office at 352.751.8176.
